Is It Worth Switching To Blu-ray?

Blu-ray is the natural progressor to the DVD and is gaining in popularity all the time. If you go to Amazon or one of the other online retailers, you will find that TV and movie Blu-ray titles are promoted nearly as much as DVDs. So is it worth switching over to Blu-ray?
